The UAW members get more because they were smart enough to be in a union. That’s what union membership is all about, having some collective strength in situations like this. The incredible greed of auto companies all these years, along with too numerous to name, corporations have ruined the economy of this country. Anti-union people must also be anti middle class, anti sustainable tax bases for cities and towns. It incredible to me that people are so against working people that want to band together collectively to better their situation for their families. Be able to send their children to college etc. The people who are the worst are middle management, small bond/stockholders, who want to fool themselves into thinking they have more in common with the wealthy than the regular UAW members. Sad for everyone.
